Natural Inspiration
Jeffrey Cooper is an expert wood sculptor located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. His custom furniture pieces and unique sculptures have been featured in libraries, museums, hospitals and homes
throughout the country. Cooper is best known for his “functional artwork,” which is comprised of hand–carved pieces designed for the home, office and garden. His philosophy is to bring the calming, gentle effects of nature into people’s daily lives and to provide furniture that makes living spaces welcoming and comfortable.

His inspiration comes from nature and many of his designs resemble animals. He has been commissioned for several public art installations at facilities such as the Dana Farber Children’s Hospital in Boston and the Jan Kaminis Platt Regional Library in Tampa. In addition, the Texas Children’s Hospital has collected more than two dozen of Cooper’s creations. Cooper’s work is customized to meet the needs and tastes of each individual, and his handcrafted designs provide collectors with distinct works of art.
