Giraffes at Kilamanjaro  

This twin sized single bed was part of the 2000 New Hampshire Furniture Masters exhibition and auction tat the Mount Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods, NH. The relief carved scene shows a Serengeti scene - from the left, a lion, two elephants, a herd of wildebeests, three giraffes, and a rhinoceros. The background is Mt. Kilamanjaro with the snowfield of maple contrasting the mahogany bed. While this was one of the most talked about pieces at the NH Furniture Master's show.
