"without Ado"

An installation at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH. 

A corridor is 50 feet long and leads from the here to the fitness center. Nine panels fill the corridor wall in a set of three, and three sets of two. This first photo shows reception desk with the first five panels. The first set of three are springtime, the middle two summer, and the next fall/winter and the final pair a pond scene. You can view photos of these four groupings below. The artistic style is collage, as the images chosen are from many different sources. The panels are carved from Spanish Cedar. They are invisibly mounted to the wall with sliding dovetail cleats. 

The title, "without Ado" is a quote from Tao te Ching which to me links the harmony of nature with the art of healing.

"The sage knows without traveling, sees without looking, and achieves without Ado."
